I'm not that long home from the first day of actual racing, in the spec class - I'm sunburnt but happy, even though I didn't race, being a touring car newb (next year...)

Well done to Alan Bickerstaff for winning all three A finals, and commiserations to all those who left expensive debris on the track (I witnessed one car managing to get over a 2 foot high perimeter fence!)

We even drew a small audience of passing dog walkers, surprised at how fast toy cars could go...

Took lots of photos, caught quite a few crashes on camera, including a perfectly-focused, airbourne Jim Lee XRay...:p (pictures to follow)

I even won a prize in the raffle (an Xmod Honda Civic!)
