Core RC charger problem

Got one of these ready for lipo and been using it to charge nimh in the meantime. Whilst charging it will suddenly drop to zero amp charging before restarting at the correct charge rate after a couple of second. Does this every few mins whilst charging. Anyone have any idea why? could it be the cells?

Tried charging my 12v with it on pb mode and it worked fine.

Don't worry, that's perfectly normal. Many chargers do that while charging Nickel cells, so that they can monitor the pack voltage under no-load conditions. :)

hi mine does exactly the same as yours does and you know mine works ok thats what i used last summer weather using nimi or lipo
