Hello.
Any Astro Setups you guys came up with from your Workshop at Robin Hood Raceway you might share?
I'm pretty much alone here in Germany with this car and any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Mark,

I was there and it a very positive day. We are currently working through what worked and what didn't and will get setup sheets out shortly. Best place to look is either on petit rc or join the Kyosho off-road army facebook page if you haven't already.

Yesterday I did some testing with the car on our Astro track, car handled quite good...but I destroyed 2 front C Hubs. :mad:The area around the inserts to change caster seems to be very weak. I found that Exotek makes 10 degree alloy C Hubs. Are there also 7 and 13 degree alloy C Hubs available?
Thanks!

Hi Mark,

Firstly Kyosho have recognised that these are weak and there is now an updated version in the shops, part number LA387B (The B designates an updated part) The Exotek parts are only available in 10 degrees so it depends on your setup as to if you could run these.

That's good news...thanks!

Alloy C Hubs would be great where we are able to use the inserts to change caster!

Last weekend I had a very good 3 day testing on my Astroturf hometrack. Haven't run 4wd for years the first day was all about getting used to drive 4wd again. After the third day I could match the laptimes from a fast guy in my club who drives 4wd regular. Basically I drove Sugiura's carpet setup from the nationals with 37,5wt and AE V2 red in front and 32,5wt and AE V2 yellow on the rear. Did lay down the shocks in the front. Couldn't be happier with the car!:thumbsup:
