LRP IPC SR - Question

Was interested to know if anyone has used this esc with Modified motors, i see on the LRP website it says it should be ok, but i know ideally this esc is designed for stock motors. It is only a cheap second hand setup so don't mid if it won't last years. I was planning to run a 10x2 with it.
What do ya reckon?

From what i remember it had no motor limit.

"Can My IPC SR speed control, which is intended for stock motors, be used with a mod motor?
Yes it can, but it has so much bottom end punch that it can burn out the comms on your mod motors. So we would not advise you using it for modified. "

Not that it worries me, just wondered if anyone had used one with modified motors
