I have used the search function but can’t find anything in it just wondering what the difference is between say a 7.0 turn and a 7.5

Thanks John

Not much really, without trying to sound flippant, about half the difference between a 7.5 and a 6.5 :)

I usually run about ESC 10 deg boost on my 6.5 so just reduce or increase the boost if I want to compensate for a tight or more flowing track.

I motor down in the wet to an 8.5 or 7.5 on a grass track but nowhere else.

my opinion/feel is that the .0 motors feel smoother??

maybe its just a placebo effect, but even with punch up and drive freq down, the 6.0 still didnt feel like it hit as hard as the 6.5

I run .0 is wet/lowgrip car and the .5 in dry race car

I'm agree with that, .0 feel smoother without lowering top speed.

really nice on slippery track; just adjust esc throttle frequency for more aggressivity.

A quick question if I may, would a 7.0 motor be a smoother version of a 7.5, or roughly half way in between power wise a 6.5 and a 7.5? I have a 7.0 Reedy which does feel smooth, but I would run a 7.5 in the car if using a .5 type motor. Cheers
