To All Racers Past, Present and Future….
We are delighted to announce that we are to start racing at a new location from the end of this month. This is in response to many requests from the clubs membership, for an earlier time slot as well as a larger track area, as we had enjoyed previously.
So firstly, our evenings have moved from our traditional Thursday evening, now to a Wednesday night and our start and finish times have also been brought forward slightly, our new start time is now 7:30pm with an earlier finish time of 10:30pm all on a much larger track area with the whole hall measuring 50m x 26m (our approx area 17m x 26m) which is over two and half times larger in area than our current venue.
Our first nights racing at the new venue will be an open night (non-championship race)
To be held on;
Wednesday 31st July
Furthermore, this event will be FREE OF CHARGE to all DMS Model Car Club members past and present (since 2017) and at reduced members rates to everyone else for this night only….

New Venue relative to our current venue (note that Junction 5 of the M1 is shown for those travelling up from London ore those travelling South). The new venue is approx 6 mins (2.7 miles) from this junction.
Plan of the site with directions for car parking and route to the hall. Once in the car park (marked in red), head towards the school building following the blue route blue (this passes through a passageway under the building), then turn right and the sports hall will be in front of you, it is very likely the side door to hall will be open for easy access (marked with yellow arrow), if not then please use the main sports centre entrance (marked with green arrow). Please note, this venue is a permanent boarding school, with many staff and pupils living on site, so (especially when leaving) please do so as quietly as possible please and stick to the route indicated and not past the staff houses)
