Hi,
I'm in the market for a budget esc that is going to last, which of these would you recommend? Any real difference other than price?
Thanks.

If it's a clone is there any difference in performance?

They are slightly different. The HK X-Car is a clone of the HW XERUN v2.1. The Quickrun is the same hardware but different software (missing a few features, uses different program box)
As for the HW and HK, they will perform exactly the same. Potentially the components are not as good quality, so may not last as long.
I've compared the real HW v2.1 to a clone £11 eBay ESC, same software, performs the same but hardware wise, you can see theres cut backs in quality, actually missing some components. They do tend to work pretty well though but can sometimes just stop working.

If you are racing I would say go with the Hobbywing, a clone is going to have cheaper components and won't be as robust and will probably fail during a race.
I have a Hobbywing 10BL120 & a Xerun V2.1 and both are great ESC's
