Up for sale is a fully restored and fine-tuned Ultima Pro Runner Chassis.
This is the first Pro-Version with the original wishbones, a flat aluminum chassis, the first idler gear in M0.6, a ball-diff in the rear, the motor guard, turnbuckles all around and of course the gold shocks.
The ball diff was checked and newly greased and runs really smooth
In the gearbox a 1,5 mm long 5/6 mm shim tube was placed between the inner upper gear (next to the diff) and the ball bearing to optimize the axial play (it now runs super-smooth)
Also the hole of the axle of the idler gear on the outside was slightly increased because this hole was from Kyosho slightly displaced (causing really rough running outer gears in original condition)
At the rear the mounting of the upper deck was improved by using 2 x long M4 screws from the chassis underside and use 2 x M4 lock-nut at the top-deck
The middle linkage of the steering was replaced by small ball-joints but can be rebuilt to the original state
The upper deck was broken in front. Therefore a separate front top part was made out of 3,3 mm woven carbon.
The rear tyres are new but no idea about the brand; they are unglued
Of course checked and good ball bearings everywhere
The turnbuckles in the front are original but the coating was removed. They therefore have a gun-metal-look.
I think the car is ideal to be run in vintage races. If you need the battery mounts I can also add them.
Looking for 120 Euro plus postage but open for fair offers.
