Some of you may know that we at tally are building a permanent track for 2009.
After months of design and preping the track is almost finished.
The track has now moved to the back of the field keeping the banking but now featuring 75percent astro section and 25percent grass section.
We belive we have designed a track that is flowing and technical that all racers will enjoy .
Check back for pics and updates.

809 nitro meeting and the B national
i dont know the dates, i just know they are befor the 10th national in may.
but i do know that the nitro meeting is using the two tears of the banking-crazy cool track layout
where just sticking witha cruve on the banking for the 10th national
using the two shallow doubles the 3 mounds and the bomb hole/ single's / half pipe back section

its a work in progress, the roller went over a few times between some of the pic
the sit on roller in coming soon to smooth out any ruts- but its off road there is ment to be bumps
pics really dont show the quality of the track, onces its all done i will get a full pic of the layout and you can see where all the new bits are as well as the 9m of banking

8th-09 series is on 19th April, 3 weeks before National.
Track will be open for that one day then closed for any alterations we feel that needs doing.
Will re-open on 9th May for Nationals.
We do have another track that can be used on Friday day and Saturday evening for practice.

dont take this the wrong way but are u building a 1/8th track for the 1/10th to race on
no, the 8th track will be an extended track, as I understand it.
minimatto
20-03-2009, 08:45 AM
No the main desin of the track, done by Chris Mills, is for 1/10th. We will extend the track using Chris's design for 1/8th
millzy
20-03-2009, 10:56 AM
As Matt has said the 8th track will be an extension of the 10th track, the features of the track have been designed for both 10th and 8th
Both 8th and 10th have there own unique track layout designed
The noticeable carry over from 8th to 10th is that some lanes will be 4m wide to comply with the b.r.c.a nitro rules this is unavoidable as we have to comply to both set’s rules, this will only effect a small area of th 10th layout but will not effect overall distance view .
both tracks will be cool and fun to race on

what you guys think? this is the 809 big track layout for the event on the 19th.
please not the 809 is a nitro event
as you can see we are using the second tier on the banking
10th layout pic's will be online closer to the end of the month

We are running 8-09 series this weekend, but if any 1/10th wish to enter and use it as practice/warm up you are more than welcome.
Also as 8-09 series is sponsered by Answer RC, looking for 1/8th brushless entries.
Just had a Mr Worsley on the phone.... I am off the bench, and in the team for Round 1 - Talywain 4WD.... awesome....

The W.R.C.A regional will be held on this track - dont know the dates im sorry.
the 10th track will be smaller around 135-140m over all and not as flowing
straight will be shorter- around 25m
width will be changed from 4m to 3m wide lanes
ALL the jumps will be used but the approche to some will be diffrent.
hope this helps Chris
I was in for 2wd and 4wd but pulled out of 4wd

If someone could confirm the wrca regional venues and dates, that'd be great, thanks.

Gotta say that the bank section was awesome at the weekend for the 8th-09 meeting .... watching the rallycross buggy's fly up the hill then take on the challenge of the 'skate' back down again was great
Even more entertaining was watching the marshalls running up and down the gentle slope!!!:woot::woot:
