I need a picture to see what it looks like as I have never herd of them. Might be a re branded EZ RUN, if it is they are good. See my EZ RUN 5.5 post.

Yes..it's most likely a re branded EZ RUN made by Hobbywing...they work really good and a real value for money too...

Never seen this system before but it may a Hobby Wing EZ RUN derivitive. If so probably OK, however EZ RUN do 9 turn combo for around £40 which I seen running at Southport, it has been reliable and great value. I'd search for that on EBAY and give that a go instead. ;)

That happened to me with NiMH stick packs that had a cell had reversed, causing the load voltage (full throttle) to drop and the battery eliminator to kick in (I think that's the explanation, anyway).
For me, the EZrun only came alive when I switched to LIPO.

I have not encountered any problems of this type however I have only run it on LIPO's. You can disable the battery voltage cut off as it only really neccessary for LIPO's and see if that helps. :bored:

The "sputter" is called "cogging", and is caused by overgearing a sensorless brushless motor (It turns too heavy)
Also check the drivetrain, so it runs freely and smooth.
Put on a smaller pinion gear, and the problem will go away.
For more info, search google for "brushless cogging issue"
Hope that helps
