Hump pack battery receiver

Just currently building and putting together my ZX-5. Can somebody let me know if there are any specific hump pack recievers that should be bought to fit in the ZX-5 to replace the battery receiver box? Are they all the same size? Thanks.

Seriously, I have no idea what you mean here. You seem to be talking Nitro about an Electric car. "Hump packs" and "receiver boxes" just aren't used in electric cars any more, not since the 80s.

Your speed controller should power the receiver like sosidge says, there is usually no reason to need any sort of receiver pack at all.

Right ok, sorry for being so new (At least Im learning). I thought you could replace one of these:

So they are slightly more compact allowing more space for motor etc

They are not required Full Stop.

Main six cell battery pack, runs motor, speed control, reciever and servo
(extra wire between speed control (esc) and servo if servo has fet lead).

Same as every other 10th electric, tight to fit in but instructions should be with your speed control.

The receiver packs for four AA batteries come with basic radio gear - because that radio gear could be used for any number of uses and its a way to power the receiver.
Nitro use a receiver pack, as do some electric classes that either use too few cells such as 12th on-road, and things like dragsters running many cells - where the ESC either doesn't have the ability to power the reciever at all, or would put out too many volts.

You'll almost never see a receiver pack in a 10th off roader. just cast it aside! :)

lol, well me and my friend were wondering why everything was really hard to fit under our bodyshells. We thought that the battery receiver pack gave power to the servo and the battery stick was powering the esc. Dumbasses :/ (still worked tho :D )
