As the title says, I'm selling my Rover Vitesse drag car, the engine is putting out around 350BHP and sprints to a quarter mile in just 13 seconds (Thats Ferarri 360 quik for those that don't know what that means). In 2008 the car won the York Sportsman ET class. The car is currently un-silenced but it does have a silencer with the car along with tons of spares such as plugs leads filters fuel pumps water pumps water hoses etc etc.
Engine spec: Fully re-built last season from bottom up: full set of Michigan rod bearings, full set of ridge dodger piston rings, new realsteal RS224 Hydraulic Racing Camshaftwith Rhoads Hi-Rev lifters
Stage 2 heads with big valves and all new springs, Electronic dizzy, Oil cooler with 13 row rad, new water pump, all new RS composite gaskets, Massive open headers, (full exhaust with car) Edelbrock performance inlet manifold with a 390cfm carb and chrome edelbrock pancake filter Holley fuel pumps and regulator, plastic Harwood baffled race tank in the boot, also new battery. Engine is very strong and sounds amazing! very tight and strong. Also locked rear diff and line lock for burnouts.
Suspension: New rear gas struts and multilinked for better getaways, front on mcphersons with coil overs and lowered springs
Rolling gear: Slot mag rims, huge good Hoosier race tyres out back, massive disks and calipers up front to slow ya down
Massive colour tacho and shift lights, etc etc this is the real deal ready to go drag racing with. Car comes with loads of receipts and will run on Av Gas if you so require. The engine bay is immaculate in this car I will try and get some more images tomorrow, but the front is a fibre glass flip front which alone cost £1500 for the bodywork.
I have over £5,000 worth of receipts for the components on this car which all come with the V5. I will be sad to see it go as I was going to put it on the road but starting a new business and don't have the time.
First person with £2K takes it or I may be interested in a swap with the right car!
