Will they allow for more steering lock? I've been struggling with a larger turning circle than I'd like.

They certainly look the business though, are these available now?

They will help get the inside wheel in the car to lock more, chill the car out into a turn and give more through the turn.

There will also be a longer cross link available that will increase lock, however i always take a little material away from the chassis to allow the arms more travel.

I've been running the protos for a while and ran these new ones today! they are slighlty better than the prototypes as these ones are orange

The longer cross-link (2mm longer) was in use this weekend at The Players - thanks to Kev K.

These new arms are also a slightly revised ackerman. They should help make the car less darty at speed and give more pivot through the corner.

The ones availabe are for stick pack layout, but i think Lewis will be producing both types. I believe he has a fair few in the first batch, but get your order in quick to make sure you get some!

They are a definate improvement over the standard ones

My dad spoke to Lewis yesterday, the parts will be around £20-£30 for the set.

Im not sure whats included but im guessing the two orange arms, and a new link?

I may be wrong but im sure someone will clear this up

Excellent. my guess was based upon the x11 steering upgrade which retails at about £60.

I wonder what the next parts to go orange will be?

SO you bought an X11 with the stickpack-mod allready made?
Is there any news about the new stickpack-body (without battery-slots)?

I ordered one, if available but haven't heared nothing yet.

Quick question Kev, what size turnbuckle do you use with the pushrod moved inwards?

KevLee
17-04-2009, 11:26 PM
I took it off the rear of a losi xxx 2wd, not sure of the size. I also dremelled off a couple off mm from each end to give enough adjustment.

One thing i think is important on the front with the new position is to cut the balljoint down in length as it allows more uptravel. I run a 3mm limiter in the front shocks aswell.

Cool, try it how it is at the moment with the standard position and move it tomorrow if i feel i needs to.

Tah, Tom
