Hi Guys,
Over the weekend I tried my B-Max in the BRCA size scrutineering box (It was actually the Mid-West regional scrutineer box produced from the exact spec of the BRCA national 1) to check on the width. Now the rear of the car sails in no problems, however we found the front axles catch the edge of the box and hold firm when the car is placed inside. The rules are that the car should be able to move freely inside the measuring box at all ranges of suspension travel however the B-Max won't do this. I checked a couple of other B-Max's yesterday as I took it along to a meeting and they all had the exact same issue.
All we have done to solve this is shave 1mm off each front axle so it is almost flush with the end of the nut, and the car fits in the box perfectly.
Just a quick heads up to any of you guys using 1 at nats and regionals this year, might be worth doing.
Tom
