nowonder they dont bother insuring em 6 points and 300 quid fine:thumbdown:
I reckon, make young drivers have a limited power, like they do on bikes, but make the insurance companies give them cheap insurance too.
Ash, you now workin super duper over time sainsburys? :woot:
Hope you pass ur test first time lol. I cant even start driving till july  Got a car though lmao

Insurance is crazy for anyone young.
My first car insurance for a 900cc 4 speed Nissian Micra was £1700 third party!!
Glad i have had my own insurance since i learnt to drive as now got 5 NCB and a nice C2 Code, with my insurance renewal of £350 fully comp a year
Now looking at my next car, just cant decide :)

Why do you want a van??????
Its not going to do you any favours when you start trying to pull at the local night club. Unless you know some pikeyetts.

Not going to be a work van going to be a day bus weekend van. Small cars are pointless. Plus my van will have a bed in the back ;)

Agreed
my son is 21 and he cant afford the ins on a car. Its pathetic the ins companies pan young drivers . He cant afford the £2000 plus for a focus 0-60 10secs 110mph as they say he is a young male risk but they insure him for his bike which will do 60 in 2.7 secs and hit 165 mph for just £400 wheres the sense in that.
my daughter got ins at 18 for a 2000reg clio for just £1160 f/comp . for the same car they quoted him £2500 at 20yrs old
