I've currently got a LRP IPC Super Sport Digital, but it may not be up to the task.

What I'd like is an ESC that can run brushed and brushless, NIMH and eventually LIPO.

Any recommendations?

It'll be going into a B4

Can recommend novak gtb... Can handle anything and is particularly good if like me you don't like to fiddle with settings too much

na disagree the gtb is massive and under powerd if you want some thing simple to use it has to be lrp or nosram and have plenty of power just look at race results not a single gtb in the top 30 at tc worlds and i dont recon there will be in the off road worlds this year either.

its up to you fella you will only be disapointed even if it is only £150 you an by secon hnd tc spec lrp nosrams for less especialy as they are in the prosses of realsing the spx and the lates spec ecs there will be some major bargains about. personely i prefer the tekin but you did say you didn't like to fiddle the rs would not be a good choice

Ok cool I'll keep a look out etc.

LRP is excellent .. I had just sold one to a friend and is the ESC I use. I am not sure if true now, but they use to have a ifetime warranty with Horizon Hobby(Helger)

Will it fit in a B4? I'm looking at getting a Proline shell when my FT arrives, currently got a Stealth.

I've not actually used it yet in Competition, but the Nosram Matrix Evo ISTC is Nice... And fits well in a B4.
Go with the Non ISTC though as it doesn't have the Heatsink and Fan and is fine in 2WD.
I only got my one cause it was a Bargain Brand New off Here.

i've been running them in both 2wd and 4wd and i cant tell any difference from the lrp i had in the 4wd to the losi thats in now!

Underpowered??? Please explain?

It's to go in a B4, was the ONLY brushless speedo at last off road worlds, who cares about TC?

i think you will find the leading manufactures care about tc racing after all it the most popular and were most money is made and where most advertising is created so you would be a fool if you are so narrow minded to say tc racing is irelevent dont get me wrong im a changed man switching from tc racing back to buggy. like i said in previous post look at results if hara, reinard, wilks, cragg, lowe, stafford thought it was as good or better they would be running them but they dont and it has nothing to do with sponsers for the reason as a diver you will always want the best gear.

The leading manufacturers aren't looking to put a speedo in a B4 after coming back to the sport after years away.

Again, in what way can you possibly suggest a GTB is underpowered?
I would suggest it's an ideal speedo to get you running, is very good value and likely very reliable.
