Adjustable braking system...??? What's that then chris...?

chrispattinson

Its mint. Its just a fully adjustable one way unit, so you can have have a range of braking to the front wheels from 100% to 0%. It will come in handy for those 'do I use a one-way or not' moments - I can choose to say have 50% braking for example. And you dont have to take the car to bits to adjust it, so it can be done quickly. I think they were available for the old CAT 2000 cars.

Yeah they were available for the Cat 2000. It may help you chris p but a BJ4We will help you even more!

Loads of parts Im waiting for havnt turned up yet. Struggling for tyres to be honest, aswell as bearings. The bearings I had in the car wont go back in, as they fell to bits when I took them out. I'd smashed the outer casing of the bearings holding the front diff in. Might have to consider running the top force or Lazer ZXR.

Neil ........ do you think an 8.5 is quick enough? My new motor is a 5.5, and I'm wondering if Ive made a mistake ordering such a fast motor?

Chris my 8.5 is still too quick... Depends on the cells though. Normal cells then a 5 or 6.5 is fast. new lipo cells though and an 8.5 is stupidly quick...

We should have a training session sort of thing so you can show us how to set it up and use the software. We struggle a bit the other week when you left it to us. Just 15 mins before racing just to get some of us up and running as i would not have a clue but I am good a PC's so would pick it up quick.

If we all new how to use it then instead of everyone marshalling one person could run comp as long as everyone else did marshal ? this way we all spread the job out ? sounds far ?

I have to say I recommend a Xcelorin Combo as so far its been great. Its a 4.5T on lipos and it is crazy fast but the esc is so adjustable and its still smooth. This way I dont ever have to swap motors its as fast as I will ever need and as slow as I need ! 115 for combo new ! cannot go wrong

If you dont break it in the first heat it will be right up there chris... Long as you've got good tyres on and the track is tight you'll lash them...

Have you modified your steering arms to give you more lock?????????

There's nothing in the rules saying you have to run all 4 rounds.

Rules are made to be broken:lol: I personally prefer 4 rounds and a final thats all. Its such a mission for me to get there on a Tuesday night with work/child situation that i need as much of a fix as possible. I know its tough but we can do it sometimes. How about 3 rounds of 7 min? Or am i going to get wrong for suggesting it?
