Belt tensioner?

Hello, is anyone use belt tensioner for central belt? After todays race, my belt has started to hang, is it normal?

Made a belt tensioner for mine. Took it off because it just caused too much drag on the drivetrain. The centre belt does become "loose" after a while, but wont ever pop off!

I'm on my 2nd one. The first one streched causing it to invert itself during a run. I mean run with the teeth facing up. Cured it by replacing it with a new one.
Also, The front belt cant handle the braking forces thats involved when braking from 75/80km/h to a hairpin on bumpy carpet. It'll skip a few teeth no matter the tightness which eventually will lead to failure. It simply tore itself apart. Happened to me twice now.
