Any ideas for the best way to secure a 3x2 saddle pack battery into a RC10?

Like most RC10s, mine's set up with a single battery cup inline with the car. (stock was sideways because all the msc jazz lived under the rear bulkhead)

it holds stick packs fine, with the little cross bar near the end - but I'm a bit nervous about how well it would secure a side-by-side pack. And putting in a saddle pack just doesn't fly... (we've got lots of saddle packs for the b44 etc...)

I've experimented with making a bit of a retainer tongue from styrene, but it's way too flimsy.

Perhaps cut something out of the frp of an old circuit board? or even somthing involving a popsickle stick?? hmm.

Ideas and experiences are openly accepted!

Cheers,
Ty

Would the battery brace from a B4 Not fit?

was thinking of that... perhaps next race day I'll test fit one from someone's and try that out.

Only issue would be the lining up of the posts etc. hmm.

You can still buy a battery retainer from Fibre-Lyte, it should do the job;)
