Hi

I’ve just got one of these and I think I may be being a bit dumb.

I want to change the throttle neutral position to 5:5 rather than the preset 7:3, but the instructions seem a bit vague. They tell me to remove the back of the TX case and simply press the throttle stick in a certain direction, which does nothing. Being a bit of a newbie I’m not sure quite what to look for and don’t want to break anything.

Has anyone tried changing theirs, or can shed some light on what I should be doing?

Here’s a link to the instructions pdf:
http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/3gr-2_4ghz-manual.pdf (http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/3gr-2_4ghz-manual.pdf)

The link is for the 2.4ghz version but the instructions for this procedure are identical to 40mhz FS version. The bit I don’t understand is p57 “stick lever adjustment”.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks

hi mate,

I've dicked about with this quite a bit. I've settled on 5:5, but it really is simple to change it.

Difficult to explain it writing, but basically, there is a bit of plastic, just to the right (if the transmitter is being held upside down) of the throttle stick (there is a little 'lip' on it too, which is where you apply the force). It's 'clicks' into position (don't be afraid to give it a little force), which will lock the throttle stick into either 7:3 or 5:5

Don't forget that you also have to alter the transmitter settings to the position you've changed to as well, and also to recalibrate your speedo to the transmitter again once both of the above are done.

Give us a shout if you need more info mate

Brilliant, thanks Kopite! Got it in 5:5. Would never have worked out that plastic thing moved by myself as it's covered in glue and stuff.

Can't wait to try it out with my truck now :)
