Just had an email to say my New BLue-Bird servos are on the way.:D
Stu who is the UK stockist and is there a reccommended one for Off roaders
I got two of them, and they are ace.
Woody, if you intend to use the alloy servo arms, they may need drilling out.

Lee - The only ones I would reccomend right now are the 616 and 617mg+hs
The 616 is higher torque and the 617 is higher speed. I have raced with both and they were good. They are Futaba spline fitment - though it is a bit tighter than you'd expect.

Bluebird 617 rocks, iam running that in all my cars @ the mo. I have some 661's to try too.
I got the 661 in the tourer, not ultra fast, but too fast makes the car twitchy, strong though.

Is there a small servo that could go in a 4wd to make room for brushless? also pretty fast.
stu i run the Futaba 9550 i think and its half the size of a standard servo. Not cheap though bout £80

don't think they do one for car racingwoody - I ran a half height bbird in my rc10 but killed it on saturday - it's just not meant for that level of abuse.

Yikers they look pretty cool. I've found them for £30 so they are inexpensive, cheaper than Hi-Tec's. How do they compare to other brands? Is there a website I can check out?
Do tell me more.
Elliott.

I went from a KO servo to the BlueBird and found it nice on turn in, although it lacks the overall grunt of a FET servo it's still more than enough for off road racing.

For those who have used the Bleu Birds for a wile, do they center OK? I tried other cheaper servo's (HiTec) but preformance was fine but they just wouldn't center properly.

1 lower than a 617 huh, could that be the 616 ? :D:D:D:D:D just a guess.
I am running the 617 in the Tamiya 501X and the 616 in the Tamiya Keen Hawk

I ran the 616 last year and it was good, but the 617 feels much better in the b4.
also ran a 611, bit understeer in feel but then it is the entry level servo in the 600 range
