Hello from Canada.
Congrats to Jimmy for an awesome site and to TRF Tastic for a wonderful KMC DF03 recently purchased. I currently own a Lazer ZX-5 with KMC conversion and am wonder if the DF03 could/can be competitive against the likes of the almighty BJ4 WE, Yokomo BX and others? No one here really runs the DF03 here to really help me with this question. Most think I’m wasting my time and money:o . TRF Tastic’s old DF03 pretty much had everything needed i.e. KMC chassis, B4 slipper, front oneway, DF03 threaded shocks, etc… I’ve added a 6.5GTB brushless system, maxamp 7.4v lipo saddle packs and dsm micro RX. It’s tight but I got it all in. I not looking to win every race or any at all, only looking to keep up and to surprise a few non believers. I do have my ZX-5 if things start looking bad. I valve all your suggestions and inputs. Many thanks, SO
P.S. Any suggestion on a bumpy hard pack (but dusty) surfaces setup and/or other setups?
