Strange, they seemed to be massive last year - a big gang of them at the neo08 and even branching out into 10th buggy tyres.. then suddenly they disappeared. Apparently they decided to sell direct to the customer - but I never saw any way to buy anything from them?

well i think they were brought out by losi and as a result are now sold as losi grp engine so the only way to buy from them is to go to losi and order

I was told GRP were bankrupt and then this happens, but that report is suggesting the Fire is of doubtful origin, they have technology that will show exactly how, when and why it started it would be madness to think you could get away with it in this day and age.

I Dont Think There Will Be Any Conespike Tyres Around For Very Much Longer :D Did They Make Anything Of Anyone Else??

I have to say, insurance fraud was my 1st thought after reading the news on neo-buggy. Many distributors had abandoned them after their policy change (distributors + shops reduce profit margins to lower prices, whilst we still get the same profit, and the credit for being 'nice') which probably forced them to sell direct. That's not going to be big business as GRP stuff isn't that cheap, and then you've got international shipping fees, and import taxes and stuff. No-one in the UK will have bought from there due to the low £ vs Euro.

Then again we could all be wrong??

"...[and] passed by the front of the building where one of the Gandini owners were..."

how handy was that?
I'll wager it's not every day one of the owners of an allegedly bankrupt business happens to be at the front of his building without noticing it was on fire. If he wasn't there, they might hae lost everything. :woot:

Wonder if they'll have any 'smoke damaged' 1/5 tyres going cheep. I don't mind if the box is a bit black at the edges .

Might be some new compounds. Very very soft, Really really soft, and Crispy.
