Well everydody it is nearly the start of the outdoor season I personaly cant wait.:D . The reason for this thread is to ask what are peoples aims and goals for the coming season. For me it is to try and get an F3 or even an F2 at regionals try to finish a few finals higher at nationals maybe a G final and enjoy the racing as much as possible.

For me its definitely to shake off my F5 tag!! The aim is for F2 and at a BIG push F1. To be honest I think the F1 is out of the question as I dont get enough practice but F2 should be ok.

This is also on the proviso that I get into the nationals, I have sent the form off to compete in all 6 but as im still a F5, I'm a little concerned.

For me, to try and get an F2 at regionals and finish higher up the A final in the Regional Finals than i did last time.

I'd love to get my F2 before toddling off to Chile... but keeping my F3 will do me. My main aim is to do ENOUGH regionals to get some kind of F...

And Nationals... my aim is to be in at least one final on the other side of the second A... but both classes this time!

Emz, I believe there will be enough 2wd and 4wd regional meetings on a Sunday to do the minimum number required in each class, or at least, thats the plan :)

Due to other life stuff I'm not planning to compete at nationals this year, so will probably make a valiant attempt to retain my F2 at regionals.

At this rate i'm still going to be running my old B3 so will be hoping to get to enough regionals to get some sort of F license again after not doing any BRCA events for 4/5 years..... then at least if i do Nationals next year i'll have a chance of getting in and should be in the higher heats....

We shall see but that's my main aim ;) I'm just really enjoying getting back into it still and have slowly built up a collection of Batteries/Motors etc now so i should be able to compete at regionals even with the B3

To enjoy my first season racing outdoor. Maybe run a regional or 2 without getting in the way too much. Enjoy the crack with my mates, and to think of a good excuse for burning a line on the kitchen work surface with my soldering iron before the missus clocks it. :o

Aim is to just enjoy racing and see where i finish up overall. I have entered the nationals but i don't know if i will get in being a F5.
But at the end of the day i have set my target for the F3/4/5. I want to try and make a double A. But i will just be happy running where ever i am in the field. If i see that i am making progress up the finals then i will be happy.

Aim is to do OK at the nationals and keep out of the bottom finals :eh?: Oh and not let vicky beat me.
And of course try and get some nice photos, maybe a few reports when I get time. I'd like to go to the worlds if we can afford it but seems unlikely.

To learn what I'm supposed to be doing again, car set-up and maintenence wise, and to get enough track time to be competitive again at club level for 2008.

id like to push f3 this year outdoors.. that would make my year complete. :) and also not to brake much, since having my xx4 ive raced at least 4 -5 meeings including a regional on a totally different surface ( teeside full carpet almost ) and not broke nothing, if it was my xxx4 id of broke loads....:p

my aim is partly the same as last year, to beat jimmy at 4wd nationals as in 2005 he was a way ahead of me , i beat him at 4 out of 6 meetings in 2006 but the bugger still pipped me by 1 point overall. bring on 2007 jimbo:cool: :D .
i also just missed out on my f2 at regional level so that would be nice to achieve
but my main goal is to have fun and enjoy myself yet again

Going to add something, just had a look at my results from last year and the indoor regionals. I am going to have to get more consistant with my lap times they are all over the place if I had been more consistant on sunday at the supercup would have been well up in the B final, and maybe go a second a lap quiker.:)

Would be good to get in the top 3 F5 but for my first outdoor seasion it will be pretty hard. Id like to make as many outdoor regionals as possible and for none of them to have rain!

I want to see how I fare at the west midlands regionals, just coming back to off road from touring, nitro touring, 1/12th, and pretty much anything else i fancied! I had a go at an indoor meeting with a borrowed B4 and surprised myself at my ability, so it's time to play properly!

My B4 should stand out a bit too I hope...

Top F4 trophys I could be up for a bit of that. I think it maybe a bit easyer to get F4 trophys than F5 as you always get top racers coming back after a lay off as an F5 and nobody gets a chance. (Nathan last year and probably Wayne Collinson this year):)

To get my F3 grade I guess. I'm pretty crap at outdoor racing, so anything will do, but it would be nice to be pushing for an A final place at the regionals.

As its my first outdoor season and I’m running a new car I think for me it is to get more of an understanding of how the car works with different set ups and then finding a good setup that works for me.
Then hopefully I can work on being more of a consistent driver and moving up from the bottom of the pile :)
