Is it possible to purchase a power cap for an lrp sphere tc? do i have to buy a "worlds" kit or can it be bought sepperately? 15/16 pound seems a bit excessive for a capacitor...????

find out the spec of their cap and you should be able to get one for pence rather than pounds

Thank you.. sorry to be such a dumb ar$e.. what specs do I need to look for...??
Check "Farnell" or "RS components" for 10v cap, max amount of uFarad you find that fits your car. 6800uF is typically on RC ESCs
If you find some "low ESR" cap it's even better than what would be on a brand new esc(and will still only cost less ~1 pound).
When you connect it, don't forget the polarity!

Marc Knight has the LRP82820 worlds option kit (http://www.m-k-racing.com/product_info.php?products_id=2369) available very cheap at the moment. Not as cheap as a capacitor from Maplin, Rs, or Farnell but much better than the normal RRP!

Just found some capacitors with these ratings....1000uf, 105 deg, 50v... would one of these do the trick?
The one from your other speedo's will be fine
