Another 501 post im afraid, :o

When I order my car, i might as well order the spares that are most likely to break. What are the most common parts that i might need?

I think id prob order the 1 way spool, the upgraded screw kit and also the shock shafts, but anything else to consider?? From what i understand, the hobby company dont really carry spares for the car and its a few week wait for spares to be delivered etc.

How are you finding the durability of the car? - is there anything else i should consider?

Thanks

Col.

That's pretty much what I purchased too, although I also haven't broken anything (yet!). The car seems very robust.

TRF_Tastic:
Did Champ have to get the hinge pins and piston rods on special order?

Thanks.

Dunc, they had them in stock, although in the end, I am using the yoke ones for the BX.

I got 2 car sets of pretty much all the plastic parts, 3 spur gears and 3 drive belts, and a set of steering knuckle king pins. So far the only things I've broken are a front upright and steering knuckle (and lost a king pin...) but that was full whack into a building! :o I agree, so far, it's a very tough car.
