sc10 weatherproofing

ello.

there's a fair chance i'll end up running the SC10 in the wet at some point - but the weather protection is pretty naff.

does someone do an underbody shell for the sc10 / t4 chassis? that'd sort it.

I suppose I could bodge something with a tesco bag and some gaffa tape... :lol:

Only thing I have come up with is 2 B4 shells cut and shut to make one B4 shell about 8 inches longer, not cheap though.

I think there is a market here for someone (Kamtec?) to knock up an undershell. I mean it doesn't have to be pretty does it, just functional. I'm thinking that it it could be velcro'd at the front and rear "pinch points" on the chassis and have it's sides inserted into the gaps between the chassis and nerf bars. Any enterprising lexan moulders out there want to have a crack at it?

Da. Dis is vot I say, no need to be pretty, but vould be good to fit snugly arount ze edges vit louvres zat don't allow de poop in. Simples.

Umm i was just going to get a large coke bottle and a heat gun like a paint stripper.. and make my own.. put a blob shape under the bottle to make it curve where i need it..

It basically just needs a basic shape to cover the chassis. I might have a look at making one.
