I need some replacement shocks for my lazer zx-5, I've had a look on some websites but I'm not sure what sizes I should be buying. How do I measure the existing shocks so I can get the right size?

There is no consistent way of shocks being measured - some are overall length, some are length between centres, some are the stroke length.

As an aside, if you are looking at shocks that are measured by length, you are probably looking at cheaply made third-party hop-ups. These will be no better than the ones on the RTR. The best shocks for your Lazer (if you are racing) are Kyosho's own ones. Although they work out quite expensive!

Any ideas on the best place to get these?
