I have to admit, tho they are "cute" those little truck things never appealed to me really, neither did the mini 8th scales, or indeed the associated rc18b..

on the other hand, is a must have !!! looks ace, hope it goes as nice as it looks, who cares if its as quick or handles as well as an associated.

Good find that !

I've being waiting for Tamiya to re-release the original frog, as they have done with the Hornet. My first ever proper RC car was a Frog, nice.

I'll definatley be up for one of these little fellas when they are released in the UK, anyone know where and when ?

I reckon if it went on the site enough there would be plenty of interest.... Especially as the rereleases are well cheap.

Your Buggy Champ looks top Jimmy. :D
I have just treated myself for Christmas to the new baby Hotshot, the first 4x4 Tamtech Gear(am Just putting the 8000kv mamba in it).
The on road ones are loverly too,i have both liveryed RTR Porsche 934`s and the
Ferrari 288 GTO and there is a Lamborgini Countach out any time soon :)
It would be great if more people bought them, the Japanese have really taken the Tamiya Tamtech Gear to thier hearts and i have seen races of 15 or 20 at a time, just really great fun,a bit like the very misunderstood(over here)
M chassis cars(especially the classic Mini),the emphasis is on high fun and low cost.
I wonder if we came mob handed to Batley with a class of something they would put a heat on for us? Do they still do mixed on road/off road on a Saturday night?
When i was on the Batley comittee we had to cap the tourers at 90 drivers and shorten races to 4 minutes just to get through on a Saturday night, great times.
