Pete, will the electric track be shorter than the nitro track, as last year, it was a little on the BIG side lol

I had heard that that happened yesterday, I did think it was suppose to be elctric marshal electric, and nitro marshal nitro, I may be wrong?

last year??
Was a WRCA round that Taly held with nitros, almost needed binoculars to see the small 10th cars!
However, I'm sure the 10th national track was the same size but the repositioned rostrum made it fine.

oh i didnt know the club held one last year.

Ive not been asked to do the track layout so as far as im aware Matt and Craig have talked about what they want ???????

i wouldnt have anything bigger than the national track down- and then just add a few bends on the 2nd level for the nitros with a longer straigh

Will there be any mods of the far double take of ramp as it was pretty tricky in the National and nobody was really having a crack at it?? Nice big ramp then you can really smash your car into the bank before the right hand bend :D

Hope TRACKSIDE SPARES are going to be there !!

cheers Chris, as the layout last year, with the position of the rostrum (I know the weather had been shite which caused it), meant you couldn't see, let alone judge where your car was.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, but...

The layout is similar but not quite the same as for the 1/10 national and the bank will be closed off for 1/10 and opened back up for the nitro boys.

electric heats will marshall electric heats only.

This coming weekend, weather dependant, the straight and the ramps will have some work done on them.

Now, lets see those entries please!!:D

Many thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came along today.
Sorry we had to cut the day short, but it was excellent and many thanks to Talywain for the use of their track.

Talywain will be holding another round of the WRCA regionals soon, more information will follow, if you fancy making a return trip.

It worked on Sunday, I was clearing it regular, I think the 2wd's might of had an issue with it though.

millzy
27-07-2009, 10:42 AM
yes they do- if you remeber it was at the test that your 4wd made the gap and my 2wd would not

so i stoped you making the gap by taking it out lol
