Brand new Laser printer arrived this morning for the club, firrst outing will be for the summer series. The toner in it will do 1500 pages, so that should be enough for.................. a lot of races.

what's wrong with the printer in the cupboard? As long as the software has the correct printer selected it works fine.

It runs out of ink every 2 weeks... :)

The ink cartridges that are in now were put in about a fortnight before the regional and last week, were still over half full. The reason no one can get it to print or show the ink levels is that the default setting on bbk is the wrong printer so you need to go into the equipment menu and select the correct printer. From memory i believe it's d92 (copy).

The ink ran out 2 weeks ago at the club, it stopped working half way through the club night, when the correct printer was selected.

A laser printer is much more efficient, its £35 for a toner cartridge that does 4000 pages.
D92 yield is 250 - 280 pages per set of cartridges.
