Guys gals
testing water here really.
I have a rare, fusion size, Yamaha stage custom kit in cranberry red non gloss. looks amazing in natural light, wood grain is superb. bass drum 20" and three floating toms 10 12 14 i think can check. bass drum skin is std remo all toms have remo pin stripes on them.
I also have a Mapex vx kit in the same red and also non glos colour, also looks brilliant in natural light (its almost new bought at start of year as a prac kit) bass drum 22" i think two floating toms and one floor, rock sizes 13 15 16 i think, cant remember now. bass drum has an evans Emad skin,....sounds so sweet, real live sound thud. high an low toms have remo pin stipes. mid tom has std skin (as i normally only have high an low toms out.
Both kits have soft padded case's. Mapex has mapex case's yamaha has black ones with purple trims and a furry inside lol.
There are a few senarios i can do here.
one is to do either kit as a shell pack with out hardware. probebly just tom holders
two is to do either kit with all hard ware that originally came with the kit minus a snare but snare stand inc (as i only have the original snare for the mapex kit, i have my own dw snare which i will keep.)
three is to do either kit with all hard ware inc the mapex snare drum.
only thing is after drumming for some time all and upgrading the cymballs i have, i am keeping them as all together there worth well over 1k.
a brand new mapex vx kit not inc upgrades and cases is £375, cases are £100 new and skins cost around £70 total of 545 before delivery. I would would be happy taking £400 ono as a full kit inc hard ware and matching snare. Could poss meet some of the way at cost. would not recomend post purly because of the amount of items.
When i bought my Yamaha stage custom good few years back i had it on offer for £600 without cases (£130) and up rated heads(£45). There is not many around for sale these days in the colour i have. Plenty in the high gloss but not in the coloured natural grain. Its a suberb sounding kit. ring any drum shop as they will tell you to beat the sound on a stage custom you will need to hit the £1k+ to get a noticable difference. All hardware i had comes with it minus a snare..but still have the stand i would be happy taking about £550 ono. I did have a few people offer me 450 just for the shell pack but i loved it to much back then to sell it lol.
New baby forces sale really. Not enough time now.
open to questions just pm me :-)
