Right then just sold all my nimh stick packs tonight so ready to go lipo - but wait !!!!

The lipos I have been looking at both soft and hard case are 140mm in length! But my stick packs are only 138mm in length.

I have a rayspeed yokomo and am using the blue alloy battery posts, I do have a hole I can move a post back which would fit, but the only problem is the plastic strap will be too short.

Whats the best thing to do? Should I move the post and have a bodge, i mean an technical attempt at making at strap?

do i look in to getting a velcron thingy , but that will loose me ride height when the car suspention compresses - as it sits under the chassis plate?

I am on a tight budget hence why I am just looking to get imported lipos from hong kong or that way .

any ideas of help would be great

never tried this but it may work. Try cutting the velcro down and removing the battery posts. Use the holes to locate the velcro on the topside of the chassis with the battery posts to bolt it down. May need a washer to spread the load.
