hi all
went racing last night at york and my car just stopped half way through the race :( it seems to be the speedo now the blue mode button just flashes with no power going to the motor the speedo and motor were both cold so it has'nt over heated i have just replaced the sensor wire and the motor and it's still doing the same so if any anybody else had this problem looks like it going back to lrp and hopefully get it back for the finals next week fingers crossed

what servo are you using. 6volt or 7.2volt type. Are you on a spektrum system?

LRP ESC have a low BEC and struggle with 6v servos. 7.2 are ok as you can connect to blue fet lead. Servo causes esc to stop/start working.
I have a Spektrum voltage protector connected to the receiver to keep the voltage supply to the ESC. £5.75 to buy from most model shops (PT NO SPM1600) I know a few drivers have this in there cars. Worth a try?

I would be surprised if it's the LRP BEC that is causing the problems, given the fact that it's a Competition version. They're supposed to have a stronger BEC compared to the standard Sphere.

I have a Sphere comp and a Standard Sphere. Only problem I had was with the standard Sphere that on one occasion stopped working after a jump. I had to diconnect the battery and reset it (it had lost it's presets and was in default mode). After that it was fine for the rest of the season.

LRP ESC's are known for some weird, inexplicable glitches and in some cases spontanious combustion. :eh?: But i just love the way they feel compared to the competition.
