I don't think Yokomo will release a 2WD as they have strong links with Associated but who knows??

They've never done it before so i can't see it happening really, aren't all of their kits pretty much 4wd?? Maybe they're like Subaru of the R/C world :D

Yokomo distribute AE in Japan - so the B4 is their 2WD at home. AE used to sell Yokomo stuff in the USA (YZ10 / RC10, not just a coincidence! lol)
But yeah, bring on the Yokky 2WD !

I think you should design it bathy, out of all your spare BX cars.
Heres the closest thing I've seen - the vitec. Years old but hey - you could make a new version!

Too many of them!!! Top car, the best and all that, I just don't want to be the same as everyone else... its like the cool wall on Top Gear, B4 would be in 'un-cool' I'm sure.

I'm sure if you had access to the correct tools you could build a MR-2BX relatively easily.

BX suspension all round
Custom carbon chassis with machined kick-up plate and front bulkhead.
Custom machined transmission bulkheads to allow use of BX rear diff and layshaft with a shorter belt for a belt-drive transmission.

Could be a fun little project. Shame I don't have a CNC workshop to hand!

This was posted on rctech too.

The car is called a Vitec Simbiosis, made by some French racer quite a few years ago.

It is based on the Yokomo Mx4.

Edit: Jimmy beat me to it ;)
