Day 4 of the European Championships was 4WD practice - all about big jumps and broken cars. It wasn't clear who was on top but certainly the new 2WD champion Hupo Honigl looked pretty impressive - tomorrow qualifying starts and we'll see who the stars are.

Nice report about the Euros. Is anybody form Oople attending the 1/10th EP Worlds in South Africa?
What is the feeling among the racers, why has nobody entered for the World Championship?
It can't be about money, Spain is a much more expensive country than South Africa. Is it due the li-po batteries not being legal? Is it just the fact that it is held in a country you don't expect to be able to host a Worlds.
Remember we did the double back in 2002 with the Off-road and On-road back to back. The Off-road was delayed due to 9/11. All of the drivers that made the effort had a wonderfull time in South Africa.

Hi Mielie- I think there are 6-7 from EFRA registered for the Worlds - none from UK and I don't think any from USA. All together there are maybe 27 registered for the Worlds at the moment - from what I've heard.
We would love to go - if there is good racing I would come and fund it myself since we have had NO interest what so ever from any company to support the report - I guess because they have no intention of sending their drivers. Very sad situation, but lets keep that stuff to the Worlds discussion threads.
