Just finished my first national with the TRF on a dusty track.

Given it's concept, dust is bound to enter the drivetrain. This is mainly a problem for the differentials. If you cover the gap on top of the rear bulkhead and use the supplied velcro strips for the body, the TRF's drivetrain is shielded well enough to last an entire race, allthough my diffs need cleaning now.

I've seen the diff dirt cover rings on one of the ebay stores for a couple of $, so they might be available in the uk in a few months for a tenner  I wish they would release all the hopups in one go, getting everything in dribs and drabs off ebay is costing me a fortune in postage! :D I need a new body shell as well... the back of mine is starting to break up (again) despite being patched up with shoe goo...

just use the Atlas diff protector seals made for the TA05 or 415, they are basically just vinyl stickers that adhere to the diff rings and keep out about 60-70% of the dirt and dust. The seals are availbale through Champ RC in japan and really cheap as well.
