I am sure that most of people don't know, or think they know this...What's the effect a thicker or a thinner oil is going to have in the shocks of a 2wd or 4wd. Or what a softer or harder spring would make in the car behaviour. I don't know either myself , and I am sure many people don't know as well. Can anyone help?

Or, for a nice quick reference guide, try THIS (http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/showfile.php?file_id=4461) guide by Xray. I know it uses 1/8th scale buggies for examples, but the principles still apply to 10th.

You should also test all the settings yourself - not everyone will "feel" the same effects as the guides suggest, not every track and car will respond in a predictable way to every setup change.

Rather like the real bible - by all means have a read - but don't put your complete faith in it ;)
