looking at competing in a serries with no restictions indoors on tyres

pressuming slippy floor and carpet, so what tyres do you suggest?

If it's for an sc10 then JConcepts do some mini pins (can't remember name) that are supposed to very good. General consensus on RC Tech is that the slash tyres provide better grip than the stock sc10 tyres on slippy stuff. Sadly, I can't compare as I've only used slash tyres.
