heyheyhey, full info for the Vorza brushless buggy is out: http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.php?partNo=103421&lang=en

Basically, it's based on the D8, has an aluminium chassis and the same motor/speedo as the Savage Flux (FAST) - also takes two batteries and the battery mounts will adjust to fit various sizes of batteries (2S, 3S, 6 or 7 cell NiMH).

Looks good Frank! How much are we talking? Nice Castle speedo in it

I don't get why HPI/HB didn't basically do that with the Ve8. You are really limited on battery choice due to the inbalance created in that set-up.

This looks good though. Any chance there's decent radio gear in there this time, because, at those speeds, the steering servo and radio better be up to it!

As Mark says, HPI used a good ESC/Motor combo, like the Savage Flux, really nice they decided to use Castle stuff, even if they had to rebrand it.

If it's the right price, I'd happily recommend them to people looking for 1/8 Brushless.

One other thing; on the linked page, it says use a minimum of 25C Lipo packs, yet it is designed to use Ni-MH cells too. They don't have anywhere near a 25C discharge rate, yet people are fine to run them?

Hey Mark! :) don't know the retail price myself yet, sorry

Marvin - Apparently there's no issue with the NiMH batteries as they're able to dump out their current much faster than normal LiPo cells, that's why there's not a real minimum discharge level for NiMH.

I beg to differ; (http://www.powerstream.com/z/NiMH-25.pdf) NiMH cells have a maximum discharge (burst rating) of about 10C. The main difference is that a LiPo, no matter how good the quality will try and provide the power, and if it's not good enough, will puff.
