Hi i have a vintage original Tamiya Striker with all the original kit, same radio gear everything! It is in perfect condition.

How much do you think it is worth??

you can pick up clean strikers in good running order for around £50 or so

So why is the rough rider worth so much

Yeah im afraid that the Sonic Fighter/Striker arent worth a fortune.

The figure that they quoted on the Gadget Show for the Rough Rider would of been true before they Re Released it as the Buggy Champ.
Prices have fallen as a result and you can now get a mint Rough Rider/Sand Scorcher for under £500.

Take a look on Ebay at completed listings for valuations.

Even a new in box Striker wouldnt be worth much more than £200. Kits are always worth more unbuilt but i prefer to see them assembled.

If you want to sell it and it is actually mint - not just mint for its age, then you will probably get close to £100 for it.

Some of the old buggies are worth more Avante, Egress etc.

The last new built unused Egress i saw went for just short of £1k. The Avante a little more.
