Thanks guys, btw if anyone sees any strangeness or crap layout in Microsoft internet explorer, let me know. I use firefox which always works perfectly but IE often introduces errors.

Excellent review Jimmy as usual. The dex410 has certainly lifted the bar for kit quality.
I see in your interview with Gerd Strenge that he's working on a 1/8th, I wonder if that will be electric.

I have to admit that this is a much stronger kit than anything else ive seen straight out the box. He did some pretty heavy crashes without any problems at all. If i had the cash id buy one, but its louder than a pred but its a designers work of art.

Been around the RC for well over 20 years and I have to say in my opinion that is probably the best review I have ever read - super photos, great detail and even got the car dirty - Excellent Jimmy, a work of art for sure.

Great review Jimmy. Such an amount of hard work, I can't imagine it is a totally enjoyable task having to build a kit and photograph it, at the same time. Well done.

Hi jim
Loved Reading the review, well done fella, you are a legend.
Even after seeing your car in the flesh it, was still a great read. I almost feel like I've built one now ! Probably closest I'll get to building one too !
I think I'll need to hold out for the cheaper version...

Looked great going around the track and is certainly built of strong stuff having survived an argument with the race control container, and the size of the bruise it left on my arm when Jimmy tried to take my head off with it

where did this 2wd car come from? This is ment to be durango? Nice car though! Wonder what it would be like to drive?
The car is made by Michael Vollmer, one of the DEX410 designers, in the
mid 90's

Ahhh thanks Maxxoo, I thought it might be the designer from the Durango review, and it is Michael.
Looks very very cool. Not sure how it would handle the huge jumps that are appearing at my 2 tracks now, or that quad at the Euros.
Maxoo, you also have that 2wd Durango. Did you find any set-ups?

How are you finding the Tekin speedo Mr Jimmy Sir?
Welshy40

This 2wd is old but did rather well at the worlds several years back. Used a lot of yokomo parts and B2 parts and they dont appear to want to sell any as they never replied to the emails or comments page on their website. Gutted as i wanted one.

Nope only a few, such as the proto 4wd tamiya Ellis drove which did have a lot of similarities to the lazer zxr and the tamiya 2wd that has a resemblances to the 89 Ultima, except for the top deck.

Didnt think the triumph had a top deck like that tamiya. Still even though it was a good car and did win nationals in the hands of Jamie Booth i didnt really appreciate the top deck design.
Still going back to the subject in hand the Durango review is tops and now wonder if they are going to make a 2wd as well. Im getting fed up with the B4 , which is going up for sale at the end of January.
