Hi mate,

What sort of start times are we looking at for the MAM's?

Hi Stan,

It's intended to run them similar to a regional, so hopefully we would be booking in by 8.30ish...

There then follows a period where the track will be open for free practice until booking in closes, but you must book in before going on track. Then we will get briefing done and start, sometime between 9.45am and 10am but how quickly we have to get started will be dependant on entry numbers, obviously if we have a full compliment we may need to get going because of the loss of light in the afternoons.

Tom, how many of the 10 rounds to count for the series?

Yardeeee
21-09-2009, 12:30 PM
It is 5 from 10 I believe- best 2 scores from Kiddy, best 2 from Cov and best 1 from Oswestry will make up your 5.

It isn't officially a regional based ch'ship so I'm really just the messenger, but I believe it will be 5 from 10. I didn't put that in the info thread because I'm not 100% on it.

Is anyone selling Schumacher tyres on Sunday?

Joe Cockill (the Race Place) is booked in, so maybe they will be bringing some.

The Race Place will have some tyres available, sadly the Ballistics we ordered have not yet arrived!!

But we do have Schumachers (Limted supply, so maybe ring the shop and reserve them) Or we are selling GRP's for £6 a full set!!!

I had a great day yesterday. the car was running really well through out the day. I think it was pretty much my track experience holding me back a bit. I Was getting faster every race I was out there.

The new Speed Passion setup is so smooth it's unbelievable. The 5.5 V3 motor might have been a bit much, but it seemed to drive very nicely and I couldn't get over how cool is was after a race. It certainly shifted down the straights :woot:

The Mrs commented how smooth the event was run aswell so hats off to all involved in the running of the event.
