Hey, I´m new here, from Sweden :)

I was just wondering if it`s possible to fit a MambaMax 5700-system in a BX-1? Would the car break for sure?
I`ve read that it is`nt recommended to put a motor with fewer turns than 15 in this car, why is that?
Ok, so I`ve only had my BX-1 for a week, but i think it feels quite solid and I just orderd a full set of ballbearings (good ones).

Oh! One more thing, would it make a big different in performance if I fitted the original 17 turn motor from my Thunder Tiger AT-10 in the BX-1?

Thanks!

I would imagine a motor less than 15 turns is not recommended due to the spec of the speed controller it comes with, it wont be able to handle the current (possibly melt). Saying that a 17 turn will be a lot faster than the stock motor which is probably 27 turn. But the mamba comes with its own speedo so in that respects would be fine if the drive train of the car can handle it?

I dont know the car, but im sure you would need a slipper clutch in there. Would be fun for a while though

Yup definately need a slipper clutch..the buggy looks very similar to a Tamiya DF02...my mate installed a Novak GTB 5.5 into his DF02...the whole gearbox and gears melted after the third pack...buggies like the BX-1 and DF02 are meant for bashing with stock motors...mod and brushless motors are not recommended...
