I have heard that Snee blue inserts seem to be quite a popular choice, but they also seem quite difficult to find.
Is there anything similar or another good choice out there and are there any to steer clear from.

Mtroniks distribute them so any shop that sells Mtroniks stuf should be able to get the snee blue insert.

Are these the inserts you are after.

The Snee ones that are listed have Mtroniks on the packaging

Listed under the wheels & tyres section

They have also seen a price hike since Mtroniks put there brand name, luckily the blue smoke doesn't escape from this product in there range... LOL...

There is a guy at nationals selling inserts which he has had made independently to Snee, but I have forgotten his name, they feel the same as Snee inserts and are blue, if you know what im mean. ;)

Not 100%, but isn't it Jonathon Brown (or his Dad) that is selling those "Snee" style blue insert. I could be wrong

I do the advertising bit, as TFR Tastic says you need to speak to Les Orbell. If anyone wants contact details or more info PM me.

The foams are available in two compounds Soft (Snee Blue) and Hard (Losi firm) I know Les is picking up a batch of foams sometime this week, and am sure he would post them out to anyone that is not at either a National or East of England Regional.

Also.

Edit (Blatent Plug) do a nice range of 1/10th and 1/8th Foams Inserts.
Neil has been using the range of inserts for some time now. He used them to get the best grip from the tyres at the CML test day at Kiddy and also ran them at the Supercup and other meetings through the winter.

They've just arrived in this week. So Mirage should have them in ASAP.

Retail is £1.50 Pair....
:)

Les Orbell, thats the guy I was thinking of. You have to buy bulk to get them at the best price ofcause...

But £1.50 per pair from Mirage, this will be convenient and high quality - defo will be trying these asap... (Adam bring some to Tivvy please).

Lee, Yes the Snee Blue are the insert of choice and have been for a long long time, so you be pleased to know there is no choice dependent on conditions like those boring cars you once raced ;) :D

Adam, I presume Edit inserts aren't far different to the spec of the Snee Blue??

Sell... who said anything about selling. Surely you could give a few pairs away all in the name of good P.R. ;)
