Cheers for sorting me out into the 2 heats JP. Yes the rumour is true I am doing some 4wd testing there as well as competing in 2wd.

That looks like a cool set up Ash... might use that 1 myself...

JP me and Doddy are gonna swing by tomorrow afternoon, but we gotta be away by 5 because Man Utd are on TV.

See you there,
Yardy

ash, cut ur batt spacer in half and put it each end... its much more effective than having it in the middle

OMG... now upto 68 entered

Hopefully some restraint will be seen when it comes to jumps. After all these are 1/10th cars we race.. you don't often see stunt display teams driving cars over obstacles the size of 3 storey houses ;)

Please Butch... make them raceable, not just driveable ;)

68! wow that is more than any of the entries for the series last year. Off road really is the business again. great!

Right it's reach 70 (69 + Tom's 4WD)

I'm pretty sure we can safely call that FULL. 7 heats of 10.

As JP said earlier....

Practice starts - 08:45
Booking in closes - 09:30
Qualifying starts - 10:00
Each further round will start on the hour

Qualifying should finish by 14:00 and the first leg of the A will aim to be on the line by 14:45. All being well we'll be finished by 16:15 (home by 16:25 ;))

Looks bumpy. I saw a collapsed mine shaft on one of the straights and i did not like the look of those pipes/telepgraph poles on the track.. is this RC car racing or 'kick-start'? ;)

well. we will see in about ten hours time...

Thought the track was quite good even if it did get a litle bit tight in a few places. But fair play to the Marston Team Meeting ran without fault, and i do think that each heat being ref'd is helping. Had a good first two rounds but then made some set up changes that didn't really work in the last two rounds which didn't really work so went back to the set up from round 2 for the final and ended up winning my final from 4th. I do think had i left the set up alone i could have had a better result. oh well these things happen and i have now learnt a few more things about the car.

Improved rounds 1-3. Was improving in four before being taken out and have a steering arm (yes, the swivel thing Dom) broken..

Qualified 19th in the E :( Finished 8th.

Great day but not a good result. Need more practice.

Good turn out for Oswestry members.
