Track was really good , shame I couldn't drive my SC10 on it for s**t :(. Still, somebody has to come last - do I get a prize?
I'll be back...but with the regular buggy next time.

Great to see so many positive comments about the race meeting yesterday guys - thanks. We want to build on the 1st Indoor Off Road Championship that we ran last year and this was a great start to the 09/10 championship. 5 rounds to go, next one on Saturday 14th November. Tell your mates so we can keep the driver numbers growing through the series.
Remember, Graham is offering a free paint job to the championship winner in each class too & I'm sure it'll be a bit special.
It would be good to see some pics posted here if you took some yesterday. Rob - can you upload yours mate? Then we can all have a laugh at Lloyd in between race meetings as well as during them. :p

Yeah, this event was always going to be a last hurrah for the truck but my astounding lack of pace sealed the deal. Hell, I can't really drive a buggy either but blowing my own trumpet I'm not normally that bad, so it'll be an X6 next time. Can I pinch the photo's too please (for posterity, it's kinda hard to take photos of your own car while you're driving it).

Yeah, I wish I'd brought mine but I know for next time now.
Was very impressed with how light and warm the hall was. The only downer for me was that it is a bind to get to the venue from the North due to a combination of roadworks on the M1 and those SPECS cameras.
I thought Worksop was actually quite good for light compared to how bad it used to be but now I realise it's still kinda dim (I shall use that as my official excuse for being crap at the Schuey Masters ).
was hoping to get a good pic for me avitar but no pics yet,any one get one of the flying satsooma:woot:

Maybe you should try coming another way to Westbridgford from Worksop........A614, A6097 and then A52, thats the way I go to worksop from Westbridgford, takes me about 45 minutes, that way you don't have to cross town as you will come into Nottngham form the south!

Great days racing everyone. SC10's are the way forward I think........ rumour has it Graham is gonna get one now, and I could see the twinkle in Rob's eye when he was running Pat's at Melton, Come on guys do it! Looking forward to the next round
I am going to try and run my helmet camera inside mine for the next round. It failed miserably last time I tried it in the mini, but this time in the truck I reckon it'll work well.

Yeah thanks all for coming guys, was a great turn out for the first round and if we keep getting more we can maybe have the pitting in the small gym and use the full hall for the track
So bring all of your mates, wags and parents and give them a car to race for the next one.
Mark can you send me the photos so I can put them up on the site gallery with mine.

I think you should just wear the helmet cam on the rostrum so we can all watch the vid back to see just where you're looking whilst you're racing. Judging by your lines it sure doesn't seem like you look at the car/truck when you're driving mate... :p
