This is a old RC10 GT that I converted it uses a saddle pack and a x-factory 4 gear transmission. so far it is great very competitive at the track. Also for anyone looking to convert a car to mid motor the 4 gear is a big improvement I tried a 3 gear first and it had a tendency to nose dive and unload the tires coming off the corner. The 4 gear fixes both problems:thumbsup:
here is a short video of it in action. The chassis was slaping the ground in this video but it has since been corrected.

the truck looks good, i reraly like the chassis on the old GT.
So how did you get the x-factory 4 gear transmission? do they sell it as a kit or did you get it in parts and from where?
cool truck.:)

X-factory sells the trans case and motor mount seperate but I had a spare from the x6 I run in buggy. It uses the same gears as the RC10GT/b4/t4 you just get another idler gear and idler shaft. The rest is just cobled together from junk I had laying around:lol:
It is great for people who have these old nitro trucks that no one runs anymore as they are real hard to sell since the class is dead. It is the best handleing truck I have ever had by far.

The wishbone mounts look very much like the T3 ones
Are there any issues in fitting the 4 gear trans to the chassis as I've found out the 3 gear is terrible when it comes to being stable when I converted my T3.

Big G can you post some pics of the T3:)
I did not have any problems mounting the 4 gear. I can say for sure it is worth the trouble it adds a ton of rear grip. I would have liked to move it back a millimeter or 2 more to better angel the cvd's but that would require cutting a whole new chassis.
The only problem I have with the truck is it is heavy almost a full pound over the ROAR minimum:lol:
