i am doing my first outdoor at durham tomorrow and wonderd if anyone could give me a rough idea of pinion size, i am running a 12x2 :)

I run 21/81 on my 12x1 indoor but thats quite undegeared. Ill be running a 22/23 tommorow if I go.

run my Orion V2 (black alloy endbell) on 23 to 25 with 81 spur depending on size of track

I see no-one's gone for my personal favourate - 20 tooth pinion on std spur. Awesome punch, not too bad top end. Needs to be a revvy motor though.

ran a Nosram 3* on 21/78 all day @ NERCR regional on Sunday gone

Ran 22/81 with my 12x1. Seemed about right, wasnt the fastest but certainly not the slowest.
