Cheers

why do you want to use an other manufacturer ?
the original spur fit perfectly and the price is very under the other manufacturer.

Spur of RW for B4/B44 fit whith a little modification (drill the inner diameter of the spur center)

Yep, I know the original fits perfectly and I know they are cheap but I have a dozen or so Associated B4 ............ if they fit it would be mental not to use them

He had a Victor Kiam moment when he drove mine at PDA. He liked it so much he had to have one! Just could not afford the whole company so had to settle with just the car

just need to correct you in case of the unlikely chance that someone should purchase bmax spurs, they do not fit. Bmax spurs have a 12.7mm hole in center of spur. I believe the durangos are 8mm.

unless you can make or find a bushing/bearing with an inside diameter of 8mm and outside of 12mm.

schumacher cat sx spurs fit as well, apparently.

HI guys; I have the durango too and also many t4 spur.
I would like to try a 84T spur on the durango I gonna try to make with the dremel 'drum-sand' a 8mm. hole, is t gonna be difficult to make the hole 100% centered, otherwise the gear mesh will be bad.
in the age of the 8mm hole on the stock durango spur is a border (like flanged) I don t know if you understand what I meen but if you do, I was wonder if some one know the differents between using a stock spur, or using a t4 spur with a self made 8mm hole but without "border-age"
I asking this because onces I dremel a 8mm hole is gonna bee without this "border-age" like the stock one.
I hope I explain my self and sorry for my poor English:(

you are MUCH better off using a bodyshell reamer to gradually widen the hole until it just fits over the durango stuff - it should be perfectly centred and have no wobble that way. You'll end up with a slightly cone-shaped hole, but that doesn't matter at all.
I've done this with B4 spurs when fitting them to the Tamiya DF03 which has a bigger hole in the centre and it worked perfectly.

thank you jimmy:)
Now I m feeling better making this mdification,I have quaid many tools but i haven t got a "body-reamer" i think i gonna give it a try with the dremel and try to stay on center" i don t think i gonna be able to give the 8mm hole that 'cone-border' shape but you said that doesn t matter if it is flat,
tell me: how do you manage to make the hole coned shape?
thank you.
I am gonna put a few pics of my durango soon.
ciao

A body shell reamer has a tapered cutter - this is how it ends up slightly cone shaped. With all due respect, you are going to struggle with a dremel to make the hole concentric with the outer diameter of the spur - concentricity is important..

Give Neil a shout and he may well drill them to the right size before sending them out. That's what he does when I need something different etc.

two last question: this guy NEIL could make for me a couple t4 spur with an 8mm hole? I would pay ihm a fair price.
second question: if I manage to do one 8mm 84T. spur could I use it for the durango even if the hole is flat and not cone?
thank you guys

I think that the body shell reamer would cut the hole only on one side cone but the other side would be flat, or, maybe i am wrong.

To achive a cone is not important. a concentric through hole of the corect size with parralell sides is the ideal. The cone is just a feature of using a body reamer.

TiM, thank you for the proposition, I was looking forward to find a contact like you.
Before i hade a baja ss and i was looking for some one who could make some alu or carbon parts-modification, but i sold the baja.
i have got the durango since 2 weeks. For the start i would like to have
one 84 and one 79T spur, I am sure later I will come up with some other things, maybe even for my Erevo or T4.
Let's do those spur first, and for all the other things that I cant do myself, I may ask you to do it for me, of course for a fair price.

So, Tim, how can we make contact? Have you got a telefonnumber where I can call you?

Have a nice day.
